Grammar Point

A Keyphrase should be a short phrase that brings to mind and helps to remember the information on this frame.
どうにも~ない

(not) in any way, in no way, at all

with neg. verb

どうにも + Verb Negative Form

This structure is used to express that no matter how much effort is put in or what method is tried, a certain action or result is completely impossible to achieve. It emphasizes a sense of helplessness or total inability.

どうにも + Negative Verb

The phrase どうにも is placed before a verb in its negative form (often the negative potential form) to show that an action is entirely impossible despite any attempts.

I cannot understand this problem at all.

I cannot fix this machine in any way.

I simply cannot remember that person's name.

Note

This grammar point is almost always used with the potential form of a verb in the negative to emphasize that something cannot be done. It conveys a stronger sense of impossibility than just using a simple negative verb.
