Grammar Point

A Keyphrase should be a short phrase that brings to mind and helps to remember the information on this frame.
向けむけ

intended for ..., oriented towards ..., aimed at ...

Noun + 向け

The suffix 向け is attached to nouns to indicate that something was specifically designed, created, or intended for a particular audience, purpose, or destination.

Attach 向け directly to a noun to show who the target audience is or where the object is being sent/directed.

This book is intended for children.

That store sells products aimed at women.

This is a movie made for overseas audiences.

This software is for beginners.

Note

When 向け is used to modify another noun, it must be followed by the particle の. For example, 'Noun + 向け + の + Noun'. Do not confuse this with 向き, which means 'suitable for' or 'fitting for' rather than 'intended for'.
